The Pint Of Origin festival was back for 2026, and we had so much fun last year that we returned to Melbourne with some friends in tow!
We started early on the first Sunday with beers at , some Big Buck arcade games, and Simon getting Big Bucked off the resident mechanical bull!
Followed by a short walk to for several paddles of Bri'ish beers that helped make our British contingent feel right at home.
A proper British, and delicious roast lunch thanks to Iain Ling at was up next, along with a glorious range of Tassie beers. Again, the Brits rejoiced at this home away from home (We're all friends until the World Cup starts ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ ๐).
and their NZ beers were next, with a helping of . This little venue packs a punch!
A short tram ride later and we were at for some European beer paddles, and woooah were they impressive! The 9 of us commandeered the large table at the back and just sat there, vibing with our beers and chatting away. That's part of the beauty of Pint of Origin; going with friends to new venues and enjoying the company.
Thanks to for fitting us in for a late dinner, your pizzas and service were ๐ค
After dinner, most of us decided to call it a night, but 3 still wanted to enjoy the crawl and ended up finishing with a late night .
The biggest of thanks go to The Crafty Pint for putting on this great event every year. It's a truly original, inspired way to get punters out and about, trying new venues and new beers, whilst keeping the whole event easy and accessible.
Cheers to supporting independent beer and venues. We can't wait to do it all again next year.
