What a Great Day and result for the Reeves family and for Double Westbred Sire Bonavista Bay.. Ashleigh Reeves will tell you the story of how Del Bocavista Bay and Idontwanabeapirate came about.. But today at Pinjarra that story continued in fantastic style.. both were very good wins and Del BocaVista Bay ran a PB time of 1.53.7 coming from the rear and circling the field out deep to win by a nose!!! The Pirate was on his best behavior to record a strong win also.. Bonavista Bay is a very underrated Sire and underutilised with only 45 horses of racing age.. his Siring average is on the up and up and he represents great value!!!

Great win to THELITTLE BUSTER today at Pinjarra and Congratulations to the connections..
The 3yo Double Westbred pacer showed good ability at his very first start last week when running on from well back for 3rd... in 1.57.9 over the 2185mt event.
Today he powered to the front and boxed on gamely running 1.58.5 mile rate, 56.8 last half and 28 flat for the last quarter over the 2185mt race in wet conditions.
He's by D/B Westbred Sire BONAVISTA BAY x ANASTASIA(her first foal)..
He was in the 2024 APG Yearling Sales but was not looked at nor could he attract a bid on the day. Then I received a phone call from Clive Stevens later on who thought he looked outstanding when watching online and we did a deal.
Hopefully a lot more wins in store him on what he's showed so far.

Explosion At Narrogin Trots!!!!!

A Bomb went off in race 6..

Shoobees Bomb!!!.. bred and sold by Spurrs Stud at the APG Perth Yearling Sales.. a 3yo Filly by Shoobees Place out of Bomb De Fleur.. the pint sized pacer won her maiden race..Congratulations to all the connections.. it was disappointing to lose her smart looking younger full bro in a stable accident.. but Mum is due to foal again this year!!

The Pirates Flag is flying high this morning!!!! IDONTWANABEAPIRATE was a terrific win at GP last night.. a natural born trotter, it's taken time for him to put it all together and he is improving all the time!!! He's by Double Westbred Sire Bonavista Bay who's Siring average is flying up the charts!!!

Great win by Shoobetcha at Bunbury last night.. following on from his second last week in the $30,000 WestSired final for 3yo C**ts & Geldings the son of Shoobees Place x Chasin Ay Jay bred by Spurrs Stud made the most of his nice draw to win comfortably. In the first race Totally Addicted put up a terrific run to go down narrowly after coming from well back. A 3yo Filly bred by Spurrs Stud by Shoobees Place x Addicted to Rock and it was nice to hear her name announced correctly this week.

Great to see "Shes All Go" (bred by Spurrs Stud) win first up from a spell at GP on Tues night. A great result for hard working neighbours Tracey and Bevan..They have a lovely yearling half bro to her by Double Westbred Sire GOODTIME SAMMY.. and Mums in foal again...

A catch up on the week.. some pleasing results from the WestSired night with a couple of seconds a third and a fourth..
On the night "Snakey Bay" recorded a good win to maintain her excellent form.. another Bonavista Bay horse in Bona Khan has won his last 3 starts in Victoria and is only just shy of earning $100,000..
