Always be vigilant when it comes to handing $$over.

Selling on Facebook Marketplace? 🚨 We’re seeing a fake payment scam pop up again, and we don’t want you getting caught out.

Scammers pretend to be interested buyers and send a fake Australia Post payment link or QR code. It leads to a fake website designed to steal your card details.

⚠️ Don’t click the link.
⚠️ Don’t reply (even if you’re tempted to say “yeah nah, mate”).
✅ Only use payment methods you’ve set up yourself.
✅ Report the buyer’s profile to Meta, then email the profile link and a screenshot to [email protected]

And remember—If someone sends you a payment link claiming to be Australia Post, it’s a scam.

PO BOX customers.
If you do not bring your key to check your mail box and you ask for your personal mail from behind the counter, you need to show your ID and can only collect what is in your name! This assures us we are giving the correct mail out over the counter. We have new staff and a lot more people occupying these po boxes, so its important we have these rules in place! Thank you!
