WE ARE HIRING | Venue Manager
The New Whyalla Hotel is looking for an experienced and motivated Venue Manager to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy venue.
Weโre seeking someone who is hands-on, organised, customer-focused, and confident managing staff, service standards, compliance, and overall venue performance.
About the role
As Venue Manager, you will be responsible for:
-Leading, training, and supporting the venue team
-Managing daily operations across bar, dining, gaming, and accommodation areas
-Delivering excellent customer service
-Rostering and staff performance management
-Maintaining venue presentation and service standards
-Ensuring compliance with licensing, WHS, and venue policies
-Driving sales, profitability, and a positive team culture
About you
The ideal candidate will have:
-Minimum 2 yearsโ experience in a hospitality leadership role in a Hotel venue
-Strong leadership and communication skills
-Excellent customer service standards
-A hands-on approach and strong work ethic
-Good organisational and problem-solving skills
-RSA and relevant hospitality licences or qualifications
-Gaming and accommodation experience highly regarded
