There’s a reason why doing a walk around your truck is crucial. Not only has this tyre scalloped - possibly due to under inflation - but it’s also completely worn through to the wire. This meant the driver was stuck on the side of the road late last night until one of our onsite fitters could attend to him.

The Boss Mann has told us to clear old stock, so first on the list are these 16x7 King Rebel rims in Satin Black (25P). We’ve paired them with 255/70R16 Bridgestone Dueller muddies to add to the appeal. They’d retail for well over $600ea but we want them off the showroom floor and will move them for $460ea.

We had four of these Triangle 29.5R29 earthmover tyres turn up today and at nearly 200cm, they’re taller than our 172cm social media manager. Come to think of it, they could be taller than anyone on our team 😱

Fitting a tyre this size can be a challenge but we have owner Tony, his son Scott and our talented truck fitter Jamie to do the job. With nearly sixty years experience between them, this should be a walk in the park (aaaannnddd I hope I haven’t just jinxed them 😁)

This is the type of wear you see when tyres aren’t rotated and/or flipped regularly, or if a truck needs a wheel alignment.

The Bridgestone R154s on this Mack have done nearly 110,000kms but with preventative maintenance, we estimate they could have done another 50,000kms. (Fun fact: if we supply the steer tyres, the first rotation is free.)

But if you look at this photo and see a puncture repair, 4WD, light truck, motorbike and van tyres, and think to yourself “Man, they really should be barrel stacked”……then we want you on our team!!

We’re doing a bit of a cleanup here at TTS and have a few excess Speedy centre caps we’d like to find loving homes for.

There are two sets of silver and five sets of black - screws are included - are they’re going for $25 per set. Please note the black caps don’t have the centre logos.
