We’re Hiring: Senior Technician (Qualified)

Are you an experienced technician ready to step into a senior role? At Soiltech, we’re looking for someone who brings skill, leadership, and a strong work ethic to our team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Technician, your duties may include (but aren’t limited to):

• 🧪 Conducting tests in line with Australian & Main Roads standards

• ⚠️ Identifying and reporting non-conformances to Supervisors or Managers

• 💻 Entering data and preparing reports under NATA-accredited scopes

• 🛠️ Performing daily equipment checks and maintenance

• 📑 Adhering to all licensing, HR, and safety requirements

• 🔍 Following Laboratory Quality & Procedure Manuals

• 🤝 Maintaining respectful, helpful communication with clients

• ⏰ Being punctual and performing duties to a professional standard

• 🧭 Scheduling and completing engineering site inspections

Minimum Qualifications

We’re after someone with:

• ✅ Certificate IV in Construction Materials Testing

• 🧪 3+ years lab experience

• 📋 Current QLD Nuclear Density Gauge Licence

• 🧱 White Card (Construction Card)

• 🚗 Valid Driver’s Licence

• 📘 Experience with AS1289, AS1012, AS1141 and TMR test methods

Meet Mike, our Geotechnical Operations Manager. Mike has been a key player at Soiltech for 11 years, not only does Mike oversee our geotechnical projects he also ensures health and safety standards are kept to a high as our Health and Safety Officer. Mike also handles all of our fabrication and maintenance needs. When Mike isn't busy at work he enjoys family time, riding his motor bike and going to the speedway.

Meet Bryce, our Assistant Laboratory Manager at Soiltech Testing Services. With over 7 years of dedication, Bryce has become an essential part of our team. He played a pivotal role in setting up our new Warwick lab, ensuring that all the clients we inherited are not only satisfied but thriving under his management. Bryce also spearheaded the construction of our trailer annex laboratory for remote projects, which met and exceeded our clients’ expectations. His commitment to quality and client satisfaction makes him an invaluable asset to our operations. When he’s not at work, Bryce enjoys fishing and camping, embracing the great outdoors.
