✨Flashback✨ Picture this. Summer Hill, Spring, 2009.

We made an appointment with the Real Estate agent to see this vacant shop in Summer Hill. It was part of a fantastic Art Deco building and the location seemed just right. Once inside our minds started running with the vast possibilities of this space. Over a steak at the local, we brainstormed our concept for Sweets Workshop. We were in love with the shop front and our idea.

🎉 This month, Sweets Workshop turns 15 — and we’re throwing it back to where it all began! ✨Cue retro flashback sound effects✨

It’s 2009. We’re on holiday in sunny Port Douglas — Scuba diving, rainforest walks, crocs, cocktails, doing all the things and it hits us. We knew we wanted a change and a new adventure. We didn’t know what, where or how… but we knew one thing for sure: we wanted a creative life, surrounded by creative people.

Sweets Workshop was but a twinkle in our eyes.
