How amazing is this!
What a potentially huge attraction to Stawell ✅️
✨ An exciting vision for Stawell!
We're pleased to share the plans for the proposed Dark Matter Experience Centre, a unique science tourism and education destination inspired by the incredible research happening deep underground at SUPL.
With funding from the Victorian Government's Enabling Tourism Fund, we worked with Stafford Strategy to develop a feasibility study and masterplan, exploring how we could bring the fascinating world of dark matter research to life for visitors of all ages.
We've now created a new page on our website where you can watch the project video, explore the vision and read the advocacy document.

A huge thank you to the Victorian Government for making this work possible, to Stafford Strategy for a fantastic process, and to our Project Governance Group for their contributions.
It's been a great project to be part of, and we're excited about what it could mean for Stawell and the wider region. There's still work to do to turn this vision into reality, but we now have a fantastic foundation to build on. We're looking forward to seeing where the next chapter takes us!
