Tasmanian Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling are still on the rise, both in terms of quality and price. So this Saturday we’re featuring the wines of Two Tonne, which represent some of the best value for money wines money can buy from our Southern Island.

Also on tasting will be Woodlawn wines, the flagship label from Ricky Evans and the team behind Two Tonne Tasmania. These wines are super premium, small-batch, single vineyard expressions, all estate farmed and bottled.

One of these is Chris Catlow, who under his label Sentio is doing his best to make as much wine as humanly possible, sourcing grapes from a number of special & specific vineyards across multiple regions – but with a firm focus on Beechworth.

Join us on the 11th of September and hear from Chris directly as he takes you across a mouthwatering suite of new releases, including some of the finest Chardonnay in the country.

A very special double up this week, with two small, boutique and absolutely fantastic Victorian wine projects.

Firstly, Catlow & Company, co-founded by talented winemaker Chris Catlow (of Sentio Wines) and based in Beechworth. Pinot Blanc, Rose and Barbera from King Valley, and Chardonnay, Nebbiolo and Shiraz from Beechworth.

Secondly, Athletes of Wine, led by the multitalented Liam O’Brien, who divides his time between his winemaking and working as a Sommelier at Cutler & Co and Cumulus Inc. His wines are focused around the Macedon Ranges and Liam will be pouring a Sparkling Rose, a Rosato, Skin Contact, Pinot Noir, a Rosso and a Shiraz

In this 1.5-hour session, our very own Chiara, a Piedmontese native, will guide you through a relaxed, interactive tasting that explores Italy’s rich wine traditions—perfect for curious beginners and anyone looking to build confidence around Italian wine.

Discover the stories behind Italy’s most iconic grape varieties and regions, from the rolling hills of Tuscany to the volcanic soils of Sicily. You’ll walk away with a better understanding of Italy’s diverse wine landscape and enjoy a range of delicious examples along the way.

Featured regions include Tuscany, Piedmont, Veneto, Sicily, and Marche.
