Shiraz from a '73-planted block co-fermented with viognier. Medium in weight but threaded with beautiful, fine-grained tannin and boasting significant elegance. It tastes of red berries, bay leaves, smoky oak and sweet spice but it's the carry through the finish that really marks its quality. Not a big wine by any stretch but exquisitely well crafted.
