When you get up close with Gordo’s work, you start to realise the level of precision that goes into every single cap. The riptide channels are tight and uniform, the bubble perfectly round for a flawless seal on a beveled lip, the isolation between the centre channel and the riptide channels absolutely flawless, and then there’s the halo on the classic riptide caps- always perfectly flat- locks that seal every time. 💨

The GTR by is a dual channel carb cap. It features two openings- one on the handle. When in use, a finger placed over the opening on the handle closes the centre channel activating the riptide channel. A finger placed over the opening on the side of the bubble will activate the centre channel and make the cap function more like a traditional bubble cap. This puts more control in the operators fingertips and gives you the option to use a larger spread air stream that a riptide cap offers, the more direct straight stream that a bubble caps offers, or both at the same time.
Whatever your puddle calls for in the moment, Gordos GTR has you covered.

It's a classic bubble cap with a solid conical top and the air inlet in the bubble instead of the top of the cap. That some crushed opal I see amongst the riptide channels there?

I think some of the caps in this drop look better photographed on a white background. I think this one pops on the black and does the craftsmanship some justice but I included one on a white background for contrast. White is very new to me. Whadaya think?
