Good morning all.
If you have picked up a parcel over the past 3-4 weeks during the time I was having issues with the post office scanner, you may notice today you are getting lots of notifications saying your parcels has been delivered. The IT department has retrieved the data and is now rectifying all the parcels that were previously delivered and still marked as awaiting collection. Hopefully this doesn't cause to much confusion.

I'm very pleased to say I now have a working scanner. 🥳🥳🥳

Thank you Dunoon post office for supplying me with a spare scanner to make life a little easier. 💐

BUT all the parcels "delivered" from the post office during the past 3 weeks will still be marked as "awaiting collection". Hopefully now the old scanner has been sent back, the IT department will be able to retrieve the data and set everything right soon.
I'm really sorry for the confusion that this has caused.

Update on Eftpos Charges from October 1st*

From October 1st, businesses can no longer add fees or surcharges to Eftpos transactions. Which for small businesses can be difficult having to absorb these costs.

For the past 3 years, since taking over the post office, i have tried to keep my prices as low as possible.

unfortunately I have had to make the decision to increase my prices 😥 and put a $5 minimum spend on EFTPOS transactions.
Please note, all Aus post product prices are determined by Australia post and will not be included in my price rise.

I appreciate your understanding in this decision. It hasn't been made lightly.

Good morning everyone.
Just to let everyone know I'm having some issues with my scanner. If you have picked up a parcel in the past week but keep getting notifications saying it's awaiting collection, please disregard the notification. Unfortunately no data is being transferred to Aus post. The IT team is working on it so hopefully it will be resolved soon.

Hello everyone.

No more "you have a parcel cards"

Last year Aus post changed the way they were doing things. Previously a card would be left in the mailbox to tell you you have a parcel ready for collection, they scrapped that in alot of places. In Rock Valley we were allowed to kept distributing cards. But now it is being trialed in our area.
Now you will only receive a "you have a parcel card" in your mail box for registered post e.g birth certificate, passports etc. Aus post is encouraging people to use their app or website to track parcels and get notifications when they arrive.
