Happy 98th Birthday, Grandma June.

What a photograph this is on the front of our store.

Five young women standing together, carrying with them the grit, resilience and quiet determination of the Australian outback. Three of these sisters were born right here in Quorn, while their family lived on Moolawatana Station which sits on the edge of the Flinders Ranges to the east of Lyndhurst.

Today, Great June, as we call her (second from right) celebrates 98 years. June represents a remarkable living link to that history. She has witnessed almost a century of change — from horse teams and handwritten letters to mobile phones and great grandchildren sharing family stories across the world in an instant.

Great June, on behalf of everyone who knows your story, thank you for the family you’ve helped shape, and the legacy you continue to share.
