The Scottish Highlands are coming to a hidden corner of Wh**ky Abbey.

Celebrating 200 years of The Glendronach, An Ode to the Highlands takes you into a private room above the festival for an immersive wh**ky foraging trail.

Taste three whiskies alongside a variety of pairings, with flavour, aroma, sound and texture woven through chapters inspired by The Glendronach’s Masters Anthology Collection.

Take 45 minutes out of your Abbey day to explore the whiskies and the stories behind two centuries of wh**ky making.

Chichibu Australia Edition 2026 is on sale now!

Built on a foundation of first-fill bourbon barrels, the dumpy quarter cask “Chibidaru”, crafted by the Chichibu team’s own cooperage, adds depth and richness. A red w**e cask previously used by a w**ery in Chichibu contributes further complexity, while virgin oak casks lend subtle spiciness, resulting in a wh**ky with remarkable depth and layered character.

“On the nose, refreshing citrus notes are accompanied by gentle hints of ginger. The palate opens with vibrant apricot-like fruitiness and the fresh impression of biting into a crisp apple, leading to a smooth, lingering finish.” - The Chichibu Team

The 3rd instalment of Chichibu Australia Edition!

Our 2026 release is a single malt comprising wh**ky from six individual casks, bringing together bourbon barrels, hogsheads, Chibidaru small casks made in Chichibu’s own cooperage, and a local Chichibu red-w**e cask component. Bottled at 48.5% ABV, just 480 bottles have been produced.

Having Chichibu create a wh**ky especially for Australia is something we’re incredibly proud of. Now in its third year, this series continues to bring together Japanese wh**ky craftsmanship and Australian creativity.

Profile wise this might be our pick to date - grapefruit, honey and orange peel on the nose, with hints of mint and ginger. The palate brings apricot, apple, milk chocolate and lychee, rounded out by cinnamon and a beautifully smooth finish. Chichibu has done it again!

This year’s label features Wh**ky Girl by Sydney artist Yosi Messiah. A vibrant mixed-media work with silver and gold pigment, it depicts a Geisha holding a wh**ky glass, with a background designed to complement the wh**ky’s amber colour.

A full house, brilliant wh**ky and the best company - what a night celebrating 16 years of Casa de Vinos!

It was so lovely to see so many familiar faces who’ve been part of the journey. With Wh**ky Abbey just around the corner and plenty of plans in the works, it was a chance to sit back, share a dram and reminisce about some of our favourite memories together.

Thank you for all your support over the years. Here’s to many more great whiskies, good friends and nights like this!

Five Australian wh**ky producers. Your own blend. A bottle to call your own.

Step into the blender’s seat at Wh**ky Abbey with whiskies from Backwoods, Heartwood, Bellarine, Furneaux and Starward.

Guided by at least two of these producers in each session, you’ll taste all five components, experiment with different ratios and create your own Australian blended wh**ky.

Our 16th birthday Ben Nevis is now live.

Ben Nevis 25 Years Old 1998 - a single hogshead we selected to mark 16 years of Casa de Vinos. From the first taste, we knew this was the one we wanted to share.

Bottled at 46.9% ABV, it’s only the third wh**ky we’ve released under the legacy label.
