Based in the Harbour at Point Samson, Tidal Solutions are strategically located in the heart of the Mining and Oil & Gas Industries operating in the Pilbara region. Our head office, workshop and laydown area cover approx. 2500m2 within close proximity to the wharf, with our marine vessels permanently moored in the Harbour or close-by on purpose laid moorings. We work closely with our clients in order to gain an understanding of their requirements and to ensure our work execution plans meet or exceed their expectations, are on time and within budget to ensure customer satisfaction. Tidal Solutions have over 30 permanent members of staff, consisting of all disciplines from Boilermakers and Electrical Tradespersons and suitably qualified Trades Assistants to Project Supervisors, Utility Hands and Vessel Operators. We also have access to many local contractors to supply all necessary equipment and services to satisfy any requirement.

We are a WA-owned, family-run business based in a coastal beach town, with our workshop just five minutes from site.

No two days are the same, with a genuine mix of site work, workshop work, and marine work.

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter with strong fixed plant maintenance experience to join our Core Crew on a 12/9 FIFO roster ex Perth.

We need trade-qualified fitters who are confident working on fixed plant and can demonstrate genuine mechanical capability, not simply labour experience on large shutdowns.

To be considered, you will need:
Australian Recognised Trade Certificate, Mechanical Fitter
Strong experience maintaining and repairing fixed plant equipment
Demonstrated experience with crushers, conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, pulleys, and associated mechanical equipment
Sound mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving ability
Experience with component removal, inspection, repair, installation, and alignment
Ability to work independently and complete work to a high standard
Previous mining or heavy industrial experience
Valid C-Class Driver’s Licence
RTIO inductions highly regarded
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical

Nothing beats a team breakfast to start the day right.

Our Canning Vale crew got together for a breakfast at the office, planned by the team the week before and cooked up together.

Fresh eggs straight from the neighbour's chickens that morning, good chats about weekend plans, and a big thank you to Cody for volunteering to clean the BBQ afterwards.

Tidal Solutions is currently seeking an experienced and safety-focused Painter Blaster to join our team on fixed-plant shutdowns. If you take pride in your trade and are committed to a high standard of safety and quality, we want to hear from you.

Role Requirements:
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
- Valid C-class Driver's Licence
- Working at Heights & Confined Space Entry
- Right to work in Australia
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical

Essential
- Relevant certifications in blasting and painting (e.g., Trade Certificate, Surface Treatment certifications).
- Previous experience in industrial blasting and painting, preferably in a mining or heavy industrial environment.
- Ability to complete inspection reports.
- Proficiency with blasting and painting equipment.
- Knowledge of different types of coatings and their applications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Desirable
- Experience in a mining environment.
- NACE 1 or higher.

Highly Regarded: RTIO Inductions, National Police Clearance (within 3 months), MSIC, VOCs, HRWL, Basic Fire Safety Training
