WE’RE BACK ON!

⚡️ Heads up, Peterborough ⚡️
We’re currently without power here at Peterborough General Store & Takeaway, along with much of the area from Terang to Peterborough and surrounds. Crews are on it, but there’s no estimated restoration time yet.
For now, no hot food, no coffee, no EFTPOS — just our charming company in the dark. We’ll let you know as soon as the lights (and the fryers) are back on

Peterborough General Store & Takeaway is looking for a reliable, friendly team member for Saturdays, with an occasional few extra shifts during the week.

As the weather warms up, the shop will get busier—so there’s opportunity for more hours heading into the warmer months.

The role includes:
✔️ Food prep
✔️ Taking phone orders
✔️ Coffee making
✔️ General customer service

Experience is a bonus, but we’re happy to train the right person. A good attitude and a friendly smile are a must!

All great things come to an end. As we look back on our last week in NZ we are so grateful to all the crew who held down the fort at PGS. Forever in awe of Meg and Sue for their can do attitude and amazing work ethic. Thank you to everyone who supported them to run the show as it always is run, with a smile.
