Today for our Friday tasting we are lucky enough to have the 2023 Shiraz by Beresford Estate, the highest scoring Shiraz in the 2026 International Wine Challenge (IWC)!

Earning 97 points and picking up a few trophies along the way!

🏆South Australian Shiraz Trophy

The 2023 Beresford Shiraz from McLaren Vale spends 14-16 months in French and American barrels for maturation after gentle pressing!
This produces a complex wine with structure and length, maintaining its vibrant fruit flavours of blackberry and mulberry alongside dark spice and vanilla notes!

We love a nitro poured stout, and this new release by One Drop ticks all the right boxes!
This creamy and smooth stout is brewed with 10 different malts, this Nitro Oatmeal stouts packs in the full flavours of coffee and chocolate with an underlying sweetness!
Extremely drinkable at 4.5%, a 4-pack of these goes down great on a winter weekend!

Made with the shared love of the hop Comet, this collab beer by Mountain Culture and Widowmaker is a showcase of the hop; rich in its pulpy orange juice-like attributes it gives beer!
Starting with their Oatcream base, additions of Simoe, Sabro and Citra hops are used to create a flavourful blend of Orange, Apricot and Mango notes!
At 6.66%, this IPA is still an easy drinker!

Halley & Lex Cab Sauv is a well structured cabernet thats both approachable yet sophisticated, and you cant miss that great label on the shelf!
Rich and full bodied with smooth tannins, layers of blackcurrant, blackberry and cherry are rounded out with vanilla, gentle oak and spice!

A great pairing for grilled meats and hearty pasta dishes, but try instore with some complimentary aged cheddar cheese!
