Cognac for a wet and winter-y evening… sounds like a plan to us! 🥃
Distilleries Tessendier et Fils Cognac Grand Breuil XO was described like this…
“The nose evolves with time in the glass giving dried fruit, honey and some baked apple and pear. Rich and full in the mouth with smooth flow and fine texture. Dried fruits continue as the main flavour with raisin and some citrus. Good harmony and balance. Long finish.”
We don’t think anything more needs to be said.

Let us introduce you to one of our best Barossan friends ❤️

is owned and operated by two generations of the Kalleske, with Shawn of the latter the man in the winery since its turn of the millennium inception. Based in Marananga but with blocks in Moppa and Greenock besides, the unassuming labels belie painstaking dedication and super quality, especially for the cash🍷👌

🍷2022 Jack's GSM -- This is a soft and tender look at the holy trinity. Grenache-led with rippling red fruits, clove-y spice, delicate structure, and a hint of quite satisfying nutty sweetness.
🍷2021 Jack's Shiraz -- Inky-cored, with waves of black fruit that climb and crest with plush tannin and balancing acid. Blackberry and plum, olive tapenade, and a nice but judicious pinch from numerous jars on the spice rack.
🍷2019 Greenock Shiraz -- Those deep dark Greenock characters more or less unleashed -- gathers into liquorice and dried spice, with dark chocolate and vanilla spice from more liberal new oak.

🥃 Tequila Cask Single Malt Whisky -- The latest release! Ex-Tequila and ex-red wine French oak barrels bring quite zippy orange citrus, plenty of vanilla, and shortbread-y sweetness.
🥃 Stout Barrel Single Malt Whisky -- Aged in an ex-Russian Imperial Stout vessel, this is dark and handsome. Milk chocolate, baking spice, almond milk flat white, if you're getting funky. Loving this

🥃 A collab between one of Australia's biggest breweries and one of its best rum producers, and it's a whisky? Ambitious all-round, especially when you slap that 5 year age statement on there. Mash bill inspired by S&W Stone Beer, pot-stilled, and aged in Husk ex-rum. Rich, chocolatey, dark and powerful. Super-duper and limited as hell.
