As we get ready for the double long weekend dont forget we have some changes to our tradings hours for the Easter Weekend:

- Good Friday (18th April) - closed
- Saturday (19th April) - 9am to 8pm
- Sunday (20th April) - 10am to 6pm
- Monday (21st April) - 10am to 6pm

Every other day trading as usual, except ANZAC Day, which we’ll be open from 12pm to 8pm.

What a delightful way to finish up our summer with a very special delivery of Jura and Burgundy wines from some cult producers imported by !

If you keep up woth vintages in France you know the yields and conditions are presenting more and more challenges for these amazingly talented small producers so we are extremely grateful to share such a generous allocation with all of you.

We were extremely lucky to get some of Etienne Thibaults from reds, whites and sparklings as well as handful of his friends, and fellow Jura winemakers, Arnaud and Malou Greniers wines.

We also got the new vintage white wines from of one of our, and your, fav Burg producers .

These wines are all chilling, literally and figuratively, in the cellar so please speak to staff if interested.

No holds unfortunately, these are all extremely limited!

Its warming up again and this Saturdays (22nd March) tasting features the final 3 of 12 of our Tasting Panel Newsletter wines. These wines will be open from 12pm to 3pm, well be rocking some amazing Australian Rosés and incredible Swan Valley Chenin which had us and the judges wowed during the blind tasting, and all shined in extremely competitive and respective brackets. These wines come highly recommended by our experts and staff. This tasting will round out all the finalists for our first Tasting Panel Newsletter for 2025. Beechworth Chardonnay lovers, we have something for you! Smith Vineyard 2022 Chardonnay has landed. Hailing from the oldest Chardonnay vines in the region (planted in ‘78) this single vineyard Chardonnay is taking our shelves and palates by storm!

Already picking up a seriously impressive 97pts from the Wine Front, the grapes are barrel fermented and matured in old and new French for 18 months with a little malolactic fermentation. The vines produce very low yields which results in a powerful and intense wine giving notes of stonefruit such as grapefruit, peach, and white nectarine, balance out with a moreish flint minerality.

We’ve exhausted all but a few bottles of our first delivery and have more on the way. Trust us when we say you dont want to miss out on this.

Part III of our Free Instore Saturday Tasting Series featuring 3 of the top 12 wines continues today, March 15th, from 12pm to 3pm. This trio were some exceptional representations of Riesling and Sparkling wines from Australia. Each wine really impressed our judges and we believe they’ll blow your socks off for both their quality and value! Saturdays are for sipping Sauvy B! And in continuing our weekend tastings were going with the next three finalists from our tasting panel newsletter. Today from 12pm to 3pm Saturday, 8th May, we’ll be pouring the Sauvignon Blanc Blends and Sauvignon Blancs from our top 12 wines. Each of these wines show exemplary wine making, fruity purity and excellent work in the vineyards and wineries. In no specific scoring order, the wines open today L-R:

- 2023 Te Muna Sauvignon Blanc
- 2024 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc
- 2024 Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

All wines in our panel are tasted blind and scores were based on the averages out of 20 based on colour, aromas and palate characteristics of each wine. The trio is back from a tale of three regional wines with distinctive characteristics expressive of their subregions and terroirs. These wines are deliciously affordable and truly a pinot noir lovers dream experience and we cant recommend these wines enough. The wines left to right:

- EST Pinot Noir - the fruit is sourced from multiple sites on the Freycinet Coast, East of Tasmania. Structured, savoury, bold and earthy.
- STH Pinot Noir - sourced from Derwent and Coal River in South Tassie. This is the dark fruit and brooding of the 3 wines with 25% whole bunch making it into the final blend.
- TMV Pinot Noir - as the name suggestd this wine sources fruit from the Tamar Valley. A juicy pinot with lots of red fruit, a hint of spice, some freshness and long smooth finish with a tiny bit of tanin to balance it out.

Open from 12pm to 3pm today! Come down and try 3 out of 12 of our latest tadting panel wines! Our panel met again for this first time in 2025 early Feb with the important goal of providing another top 12 wines that are both excellent quality and incredible value!

The results were incredibly close with recent vintages of all submissions and quality of winemaking exceeding all expectations. From over 40 submissions tasted blind we had to painstakingly select our top 12 wines. These wines come highly recommended by our experts. And for the rest of March we’ll be opening 3 out of 12 every Saturday for you guys to try!

The Adriano family have been tenet farmers in the Piedmonte region since the early 1900’s. The first harvest under ‘Adriano Marco e Vittorio’ was in 1994 from the family’s home vineyard, they now own and operate 4 separate estates in Barbaresco and surrounds.

Michela Adriano will be hosting this event with Dave Mullen Wines in our cellar. Michela is the daughter of Vittorio Adriano and is now the face of the Adriano wines around the world . As the next generation of the family wine production, she is responsible for managing the estate as well as dealing with all exports, sales and marketing.
