New Vintage of our Favorite Pinot is here! Picardy Tête de Cuvée Pinot Noir 2022, has just landed. From the stellar 2022 vintage this flagship Pemberton Pinot is bold, structured, and built to age.

With notes of dark cherry, forest berries, spice, and silky tannins wrapped in serious elegance. Scoring 99 points before its retail release, it’s a benchmark Aussie Pinot and would give the great Burgundy producers a run for their money, literally!

As always this is a limited release and without a price increase, it’s a serios a must have. decant if drinking now or cellar comfortably till 2036.

Winner Winner! Rated Best of the Best from Ray Jordans top 100 wines 2025 now available in store and online.

A single-vineyard wine from the Riversdale estate, crafted as part of the Ovale range. Expect aromas of spicy oak, red berries, and crushed herbs lead into a savoury palate of plum and cherry, supported by earthy tannins and youthful intensity. Medium to full-bodied and elegantly structured, this Shiraz is approachable now but will reward cellaring through to 2030.

How good is WA shiraz and Syrah getting? We think this is only the beginning!

Winner winner! Another of the Best in Class from is now available instore online and this ones from local legends . Only the 5th Cabernet from WA to win this prestigious international award, its a must have for any wine aficionados.

The wine is a bold and elegant red from Margaret River, made with hand-picked Cabernet, Malbec, and Petit Verdot. Aged in French oak for 14 months, it’s packed with dark berries, violets, cedar, and spice. Smooth tannins and fresh acidity give it great balance and aging potential.

🏆 Just landed: Another Aussie Best in Show trophy winner at the Decanter World Wine Awards, the “12th Man” Chardonnay 2024. This cool-climate stunner from Adelaide Hills bursts with white peach, lemon curd, flinty minerality, and a creamy, chalky texture. Wild fermented in French oak with 9 months on lees, it’s crisp, elegant, and built to impress.

Only a very limited amount made it to WA before it started to sell out so dont miss your opportunity to add this absolute belter to your cellar or impress at the dining table at your next lunch, dinner, or rare vino breakfast.

As in previous years, we were closely watching the World Wine Awards to see which Aussie producers brought home the golds, platinums—and those rare Best in Class honours (only 50 out of 18,000 wines submitted from all wine producing countries!).

We’re thrilled to see the 2023 Trentham Heathcote Shiraz Reserve named as of four Australian wines to be awarded Best in Show with a stunning 97 points – the first ever Victorian wine to achieve this! 🍷

The wine has aromas of plum, dark cherry, and chocolate, with a rich, long palate wrapped in silky mocha oak. Grown on Cambrian soils in Heathcote and matured in French oak barriques, it’s a true showcase of region and craft.

Founded by winemaker Lance Parkin and sommelier Kris Ambrozkiewicz, Battles sources premium fruit from top sites across Margaret River, the Perth Hills, Geographe, and the Great Southern. We’ll be tasting their standout Margaret River Chardonnays, the multi award-winning Frankland River Shiraz, and other small-batch, expressive wines that showcase the depth and diversity of WA terroir. Don’t miss this chance to explore their range and meet the people behind the label.

Looks line winter’s letting us know it’s here which meand it’s a great time to rug up and grab one of our top 6 recommended reds. This time around we looked at some light to medium reds that pack lots of punch, flavour and are deliciously affordable. There’s something for everyone in the lineup with great representations of some classic varieties and alternative styles. The wines our panelists recommend L-R (in no score order);

Our latest tasting panel newsletter is out, and the top 12 wines are flying out the door! Our panel recently caught up to blind taste, score and choose our top recommended wines for Autumn.

For the 12th edition we challenged our submitters to show our panel the best of what they had in terms of value for quality with some full bodied white and light to medium red. So lets start with the white wine finalists, which came out of the most competitive white wine and Chardonnay bracket we have tasted and discussed to date.

Coincidentally our top 6 scoring white wines were a truly awesome mix of Chardonnay, just in time for International Chardonnay day! All these wines have amazing character, personality and flavour reflective of the terroir, intended style and winemaking. The wines left to right (in no particular score order):

Finally some consistent “perfect for Pinot Noir” weather! Although, it’s always Pinot Noir weather in our opinion 🙂

Lets celebrate mild days and cooler nights with the highly anticipated 2024 Pinot Noir release from .shore.

This warmer vintage has created a lovely wine with rich berry flavour, spice and some serious depth and length. 8 months in French oak also contributes some lovely texture and tannin structure.

A must have for the Pinot lovers out there, and dont sleep on it as its super limited! Every year its gone before we know it.
