Pikesville Straight Rye Whiskey (55.0% abv) began as a distillery in 1895 before Prohibition ceased its Maryland operations. Production was eventually restarted, and the brand became the last Maryland Rye as market conditions changed over time.

Now produced by Heaven Hill in Kentucky, the recipe remains faithful to the Potomac-style with a large portion of corn balancing rye in the mash, before aging 6 years in American oak.

Expect cocoa, subtle oak, honeyed notes, warm spice and vanilla across a rich, oily palate arc.

One of our much loved producers of South African wines South Africa🇿🇦 has unfortunately been hit with massive floods which have left 20 hectares of their stock completely destroyed with another 15 hectares severely damaged and over 50 hectares to be cleaned up. They produce some of South Africa’s most loved wines and pictured we have 3 of their flagship wines🍷

Life From Stone: A powerful Sauvignon Blanc with a flinty, mineral character, vines are grown in incredibly rocky soils to produce highly concentrated wines.

Whole Berry: A velvety wine with softer tannins which is unfiltered & unfined. Made with as little intervention in the cellar as possible.

Work of Time: A Bordeaux blend which is rich, classic & complex. The vines used to produce this blend took 9 years to reach a maturity level which they were comfortable with to create their maiden vintage in

Ekin Wine’s Gamay 2025 (13.5% abv) has quickly become a favourite for those looking for a juicier option to Pinot Noir.

Hand picked fruit Adelaide Hills fruit was aged in a mixture of French oak resulting in a plush, light-medium bodied Red. Expect raspberrie & blueberries with just enough fine tannins to match any snacking board.

And this Gamay could easily be chilled, offering another option for a very social red wine.

Recently Nelio was invited to present at a Guildford Grammar parents & friends engagement evening.

Over the evening, he discussed the history of the Swan Valley wine region from 1829 to present day, and it’s Old Vine Charter. This collaborative covenant aims to preserve the regional old vines and showcase the eclectic range of wines produced from Australia’s second oldest wine region.

Swan Valley old vine wine is produced from +35 year-old vines, with some in the area planted more than 100 years ago. Interestingly, within the next few years, most of the Swan Valley vineyards will classify as Old Vine.

The diversity of the region is also cause for celebration. As part of the presentation Copper & Oak showcased six wines from the Swan Valley that represent the range of styles from dynamic whites to character filled fortifieds.
