Wild Turkey’s Austin Nichols 16 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon (60.0% abv) is the debut of a new premium series.

Clad in ‘cheesy gold foil’ that references 80s & 90s Wild Turkey packaging, Associate Master Blender Bruce Russell drew from Camp Nelson Rickhouses for a mature Bourbon expression.

Expect aromatic oak, deep caramels, dark honey, dried cherries, toasted nuts, to***co & baking spices with old oak funk. Vanilla, cola, more cherry dark chocolate, brown sugar, leather and orange peel add complex layers on the lengthy palate.

Bonny Doon Vineyard’s story is character filled, and rich with innovation.

Its founder / owner Randall Grahm’s fell into wine while working part time at a Beverly Hills wine store in the early 1970s which developed into a lifelong passion.

Fast forward to 1983, and the purchase of land Central Coast’s Santa Cruz mountains provided the perfect setting for a focus on Rhône varietals - something few had considered at this point.

Grahm is a James Beard Foundation winner, pioneered biodynamic winemaking & Stelvin crew caps on premium wines, has an asteroid - Rhoneranger - named after him, and has crafted some of the most iconic wines from California, all of which arrives with a certain amount of whimsy.
