Smiley Brewing's crowd‑favourite Open Mic is back this Sunday, 31 May from 1pm, with Renee and Dave setting the vibe. Swing by for an afternoon of live entertainment. 🎤🎸✨

🎤Performers - How to register your interest:
For those at the April open mic, you know what to do. The only change is that, due to the event’s growing popularity, we may need to trim performance slots to a maximum of three songs.✨
For first timers to this family-friendly all ages open mic event,
(1) book a table and bring along your family and friends. (Under 18's must be with a parent/guardian)

(2) In the special requests section of the booking – note ‘open mic performer’ and who that is.
(3) Get there early. The booking registers your interest, however the board is full on the day after the first 15 of the registered performers arrive.
(4) Early arrivals will secure their spot (in person) and get priority choice on their performance time between 1pm and 4.45pm.
(5) Each performance slot is up to 3 songs – including move in and move out. Our set-up provides for two vocal mics and two instrument inputs, and we can plug in your mobile phone, tablet or laptop for backing tracks. Renee and Dave will help get you set up and keep you sounding your best. No additional Amps please.
(6) Don’t confuse your booking time with your performance time — performance order is based on arrival, and you can choose from the remaining available slots when you get there. Plan to enjoy the afternoon and support your fellow performers – they’re also there for you.

If you’ve made a booking but can no longer attend, please cancel at least 24 hours beforehand via your booking confirmation email. Forgetting to cancel affects the venue and opportunities for other performers and guests.

This week we attended the Royal Melbourne Australian International Beer Awards.
We are excited to announce we picked up a bunch of medals for our beers entered, taking home 2 silver medals and 4 bronze medals.

For a small locally owned and operated brewery in our first few years of operation, it's a massive achievement on top of our recent medals from the Queensland Beer Awards.

Thank you to all our loyal customers who come in and drink these awesome brews that allows us to keep brewing and keep on improving what we do!
