Italy’s Next Generation. And he’s coming to Le Pont.

This year, we are honoured to welcome Bernardo Manetti of Fontodi — one of the faces of Italy’s Next Generation, as featured on the cover of Wine Spectator.

A fifth-generation steward of one of Tuscany’s most storied estates, Bernardo carries with him the soul of Chianti Classico and a vision that is entirely his own.

Those who shared a table with Giovanni Gaja at Le Pont last year will know what an evening like this feels like. And for those who missed it, this is your moment.

An intimate evening with Clos Saouma at

Mounir and Rotem Saouma built their reputation through Lucien Le Moine in Burgundy before turning their meticulous, élevage-driven philosophy to the Southern Rhône. The result: Châteauneuf-du-Pape of rare finesse — wines that favour texture and perfume over sheer power.

We are hosting a very limited dinner in the Cleland Bond Room, focused exclusively on rare cuvées from the Clos Saouma portfolio — wines seldom seen on Australian shores. Three courses. Magnums. A collector’s evening.

Join us for an evening with Brash Higgins, as winemaker and owner Brad Hickey hosts a rare masterclass at Le Pont.

Originally from New York, Brad settled in McLaren Vale in 2007 and, together with Nicole Thorpe, has built one of the region’s most distinctive estates, centred on Mediterranean varieties, organic farming, and a considered use of amphora.

Working from the Omensetter Vineyard, with its red clay and limestone soils, the wines focus on texture, balance and a precise expression of site. Nero d’Avola sits at the core, alongside Shiraz, Zibibbo and Cabernet Sauvignon.

The resulting wines are refined and quietly expressive, from the lifted, early-drinking NYMPH, to the layered complexity of BLOOM, and the structure of their flagship Nero.
