• Radical skin contact: while most white wines only touch the skins for a few hours or days, Libiamo pushes boundaries — Chardonnay rests 190 days, Muscat up to 180 days! This adds texture, spice, and complexity rarely seen in whites.
• Unfined, unfiltered, uncompromised: no polishing, no shortcuts. Just pure terroir in your glass.
• Organic & biodynamic pioneers: Millton has led the way since the 1980s, long before “natural wine” was trendy. Certified Demeter biodynamic since 2009.

🥃 Why Kanosuke?

On the golden sands of Fukiagehama Beach in Kagoshima, Kanosuke Distillery is redefining what Japanese whisky can be. 🌸🏖️ With their philosophy of “MELLOW LAND, MELLOW WHISKY”, they create spirits that are richer, more soulful, and uniquely tied to Kagoshima’s shochu-making heritage.

For over 140 years, Komasa Jyozo — the family behind Kanosuke — has been making shochu at their Hioki facility. Shochu in Kagoshima is traditionally distilled from unmalted barley (mugi), a style known for its elegance and umami. This expertise inspired them to experiment with whisky made from both malted and unmalted barley, distilled in traditional Japanese pot stills.
