Two new beers from
’SEAGULL MULLET’ (x Stigbergets)
DDH West Coast IPA
ABV: 7.4%
"We know what you’re picturing. A seagull walking around with a fake cockatoo’s crest on its head trying to go incognito amongst a crackle of cockatoos (yes, that's the name of a group of cockatoos).
Well that’s a ridiculous image and we’re here to tell you that is … absolutely the image we pictured when naming this beer.
Luckily the brew day with our mates from Stigbergets Bryggeri in Sweden wasn’t completely
taken up by imagining absurd bird scenarios that we may or may not have tried to recreate later on that day.
We also got around to brewing this modern West Coast IPA brewed with Simcoe T-90 in the whirlpool, Simcoe Dynaboost hop dip and a healthy dry hop of Cryo Krush and even more Simcoe that creates a flavour bomb exploding with crisp grapefruit and lemon notes and a mild resinous, piney backbone.”
’HILLS TO MOUNTAINS’ (x Widowmaker)
Oat Cream IPA

"We just became best friends!
The Gathering marked the third time we’ve partied with our mates at Widowmaker and the third continent that we’ve partied together on. And you know what they say, third time proves it.
Whilst this time didn’t have the bar pie and Banquets of Braintree or the goodies of Amsterdam, it does mark the first time we actually got around to brewing a beer together.
One thing we discovered early is our shared love for the hop Comet, rich in freshly squeezed, pulpy orange juice goodness so we made sure this beer showcased it perfectly.
Using our creamy Oat Cream base and a hearse-load (IYKYK) of Comet hops, we layered it up with Simcoe, Sabro and Citra to create an indulgent bouquet of oranges, apricots, mango and vanilla.
