Get ready for Horizontal Festival, where NSW’s best food, w**e, music and makers come together among the vines at Centennial Vineyards.

Meet legendary chefs including Francis Mallmann, Matt Moran, Mark Best, Mindy Woods, Simon Evans and Troy Crisante on the Maldon Salt Culinary Stage, taste your way through w**e, spirits, cheese and local produce, and enjoy live music, DJs and artisan makers.

With four sessions across Friday, Saturday and Sunday, there are plenty of ways to experience Horizontal.

Apparently this is what we would’ve looked like in the ’80s. And honestly, the shirts check out.

W**e trends come and go – and we’ve been around long enough to see quite a few of them. Back in the ’80s, Australian Chardonnay was big, golden, buttery and gloriously oaky. Table w**e had overtaken fortified w**e, cool-climate regions were beginning to make their mark, and Australian w**e was starting to turn heads around the world.

The hair got smaller.
The shoulder pads disappeared.
The Chardonnay got a little less oaky.

But our love of discovering great Australian w**e? That one stuck.

Since 1975, we’ve had a front-row seat to Australian w**e changing, evolving and occasionally coming full circle.
