We asked our friends at Mountain Monk Brewers to brew us an old school IPA for Grape & Grain 14th Birthday Party and wouldn't you know it? They brewed us an old school IPA.

*Brewers Notes*
"A blast from the past – with a rebellious kick! Think a golden malt driven backbone with a dry finish, but not being a dufus on the hop flavours. Rad as pine and grapefruit from old skool West Coast hop faves Columbus & Simcoe, plus some sick Eclipse Prysma 1st dry hop for a citrus punch – But, with a hot streak of Strata in the 2nd dry hop to give mango, red berry and a hint of dank – it’s so fly! Brewed for our Homie G’s Grape & Grain Moorabbin’s 14th Birthday Party"

Well, it's time we start announcing the Grape & Grain 14th Birthday Party treats and we're starting with a banger of an announcement.
After a three year absence we finally have The Lone Mariachi & The Silver Masked Men playing live on stage for our Birthday.
If you've seen these guys previously then you know why we're so excited to have them back.
We had to book them almost a year in advance such is their popularity.
They'll be on stage from 8pm.

It's that time of year again! Clear your calendar for the 14th of November as we invite you to the Grape and Grain 14th Birthday celebration!
12 Unique b**rs, Live music and shows all day as well as a few little surprises that we'll announce along the way.

Hello legends.
Tomorrow night (Saturday 20th June) Grape & Grain will be hosting live music from cover band 'Rock Republic'. Live music is not something we usually do but we thought "why not?".
Get yourselves down from 7pm and watch the guys rock out to some legendary bangers.

This coming Thursday we'll be celebrating the life of our much loved Liam O'hare who we tragically lost two weeks ago.
There will be a karma keg donated by our friends at Mountain Culture B**r Co with all proceeds going to a cause that Liam was passionate about, gofoundation.org.au which funds indigenous education scholarships.

So come down this Thursday from 4pm onwards and let's raise a glass together and celebrate the life of a much loved member of our industry.

It is with a heavy heart that we must unfortunately announce the passing of one of our own.
Liam O'hare was a legend here at the G, serving everyone b**rs with his trademark dry humour and Kiwi charm for over ten years.
Liam's passing has left a gaping hole in our little family that can never be filled. We are utterly devastated.
Liam wasn't just a co-worker, he was a friend, a brother and was much loved by the community.
Our thoughts are with his family at this time.
