Carwyn Cellars is an independent family-owned bottleshop located in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. We are "no ordinary bottleshop" and engender diversity, choice, artisanship and individuality. Our philosophy flies in the face of an increasingly mono-cultured industry, dominated by a select few big brands and mega-corporations. We specialise in small boutique producers, with a good representat

ion of local products as well as hard to find imports. You will also find an impressive collection of wine, spirits and ciders; which our friendly staff are excited to tell you about. Education is another focus of ours with beer/wine tastings regularly occurring. Special events and master classes are also not to be missed!

After a bit of a crazy detour, Carwyn Cellars is officially back in the hands of its original owners, Ben & Nicole – and we're stoked to get back to doing all the things you love most about Carwyn Cellars.

To mark this special occasion, we’re throwing an all-day celebration the only way we know how: with exceptional beer, hearty food, and a whole lot of good times.

Here’s what’s going down:

🍻 $10 pints ALL DAY – featuring 8 beers of our oldest brewery mates and most-loved Victorian beer legends. It’s our way of saying thanks to the breweries that have been with us since day one.

🍾 A stellar taplist full of bangers in true Carwyn style.

🍔 Food specials that pair perfectly with a cold pint (or two). Come hungry – you won’t be disappointed.

🕓 A FREE KEG tapped at 4PM! Mountain Culture Beer Co has kindly donated a keg of ‘Cult IPA’ to share with all of you! Come early, grab a seat, and don’t miss out. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Following on from the joyous 10th year anniversary in 2024 of this Victorian staple, our wild Reservoir friends La Sirène Brewing have once again invited us to join these city-wide celebrations! 🏙🎉

One of the most iconic and OG dessert stouts beers is celebrating 11 years of cacao, hazelnut & vanilla goodness and they’ve once again created an assortment of variations of this great brew!

Join us on Saturday June 28 as we tap the OG Praline in the Carwyn bar alongside 4 limited variations of Praline made specially for this multi-venue celebration! (variations to be announced soon).

To take this a step further, and line it up with the season, we’ll be serving a unique Mulled Praline hot n’ boozy drink, ready to take us into cozy cake heaven 😍🍰🍫

In case that you can’t make it to the event, our Bottleshop & online store will be selling all 3 of these variations plus the OG Praline in both single cans and a convenient mixed 4-pack, so you can enjoy all these treats at home!

As we get ready for the launch of the new Hard Lemonades by the NZ legends Garage Project, our chef Renny has been hard at work trying to make a food special inspired in Japanese-food and their popular convenience stores 🏪

A flattened chicken thigh, deep-fried and made to be crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. A now classic Japanese convenience store staple made popular in social media over the last few years. Some of you might be “𝙛𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙖𝙧” with it 😉
