Happy Father’s Day to all our W**e Lovers!

All day, the shop has been buzzing with our W**e Lovers community stopping by to pick up something great for Dad.

From Joseph, David and the whole team at W**e Lovers Warehouse, we thank you for your support and hope your day is filled with great w**e, good food and time spent with the people who matter most.

This weekend, Sally brought in fresh bunches of lemon thyme and rosemary from her garden to share with our W**e Lovers, adding a little extra flavour to their Father’s Day cooking. Sometimes, it’s the smallest gestures that brighten someone’s day. Just look at those smiles!

Gemma’s Staff Pick: Thorn-Clarke Bona Fide Graciano Shiraz

Meet Gemma, our Dromana Warehouse Manager. She’s always ready with a welcoming smile and a fabulous bottle or two to recommend.

Trying something new is half the fun of w**e, especially when you discover a new favourite.

This month, Gemma has chosen something a little less familiar and seriously interesting, Thorn-Clarke Bona Fide Graciano Shiraz 2021.

Graciano is a Spanish variety that can be tricky to grow and produces low yields, making it something of a treasure. In this blend, it brings freshness, structure and a slightly savoury edge, while Shiraz adds rich fruit and a generous finish. Gemma loved its lush mouthfeel, with notes of pomegranate, dried fig and mulberries, finished with a pleasant herbal undertone. A little different, somehow familiar and, in Gemma’s words, delicious.

Perfect with smoky brisket, eggplant moussaka and great conversation.

What a fantastic afternoon at W**e Lovers Warehouse Dromana.

Our W**e Lovers community came together to meet w**emaker Joe Viscosi, taste his gorgeous local w**es and share plenty of conversation and laughter.

The feedback from our customers was wonderful. They thoroughly enjoyed meeting Joe and tasting the newly released Mornington Peninsula Viscosi Pinot Noir 2025 and the newly ranged, incredibly delicious Viscosi Chardonnay 2024.

Many guests also discovered something new, tasting Viscosi Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot Noir and Viscosi Rosé for the first time. The event-day offer was another highlight, giving customers seven featured bottles for the price of six, including a complimentary bottle of their choice signed by Joe.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and made the afternoon such a special community event. And a very big thank you to Joe Viscosi for sharing his knowledge, stories and beautiful Mornington Peninsula w**es with us. A special thank you also to our customer Frank who dropped off some of his home made salami especially for the event.
