** GROWING LEADERS FROM WITHIN ** Over the past six months, three store managers—Alycia, Richard and Andrew embarked on a leadership development program designed to strengthen their capability, confidence, and commercial impact. What began as an investment in personal growth quickly evolved demonstrating how targeted leadership development can deliver change on the shop floor.
** BUILDING STRONGER LEADERSHIP FOUNDATIONS ** At the outset, each manager brought a unique set of strengths, along with opportunities for growth. Andrew, sought to build stronger team engagement. Richard, wanted to learn more about his own leadership style and Alycia, aimed to grow her own confidence and decision-making. The Foodland initiative program combined practical workshops, coaching sessions, and real-world application. Participants focused on core leadership behaviours, communication, accountability, coaching, and decision-making while linking these directly to operational outcomes.
As we continue to navigate a fast-changing retail environment, programs like this serve as a powerful reminder that leadership growth is not a one-time event, but an ongoing journey.
