A few new faces around here lately, so we thought we’d reintroduce ourselves… 👋🇮🇹

We’re Amato’s - family run, family operated, 100% independently owned and proudly calling Leichhardt home for 49 years!

It all started with Nonno ❤️ What he built, we’re now lucky enough to carry on -generation after generation, working side by side every day… whether we like it or not 😂

There’s plenty of work, plenty of opinions, probably too much talking, and somehow even more laughing.
And this year, we decided 49 years deserved a proper celebration.
Enter the Amato’s Tour of Little Italy 🇮🇹🍷

Four dinners. Four iconic venues. Four incredible companies. A celebration of good food, good w**e, our Italian roots and the community that’s kept us here for almost half a century.

Three chapters down, and we’ve loved every minute of it. ❤️

Now there’s just one final stop on the tour - Chapter IV: From North to South with Piccini.

Nonno started it and we’re just having a bloody good time carrying it on ❤️🇮🇹

CHAPTER III: VINO DOWN UNDER 🇮🇹🇦🇺

Three dinners down on Amato’s Tour of Little Italy and, apparently, we’re getting a little too good at this.

Moretti’s fed us VERY well - risotto, pasta, carne, tiramisu… we ate well, just as Italians should 🍝

We put Adem’s Music on the spot for a surprise live performance… and boy, did he deliver 🎶

Then Marco Cirillo brought the w**es, the stories and all things Cirillo 🍷

We drank. We ate. We learnt a thing or two.

Not bad for a Tuesday night in Leichhardt.

Chapter III complete. ✅
Which means there’s only ONE stop left on our Tour of Little Italy…
