Irrigation. Alpha Irrigation has forged a significant footprint in the North and North-West of Tasmania, gaining an outstanding reputation for quality workmanship and a result-focussed mindset. The company is Tasmanian owned and operated by Eddie Maguire and Kent Wyllie. Eddie and Kent are both proud Tasmanians, born and raised on the Northwest Coast of Tasmania. They have a passion for our state, which motivated them both to ensure that Alpha Irrigation remained a wholly Tasmanian owned business, employing Tasmanians to support Tasmanians. The business provides a state-wide service from its three well equipped branches at; 3 Speedway Drive Latrobe, 24 – 30 Fairlands Drive Somerset, and 44 Browns Road Kingston. All branches are fitted with a job tracking program that allows us to monitor the job process whilst it is in progress and all the relevant information is stored for future reference if required.

This Father’s Day, we’re giving a big shoutout to all the dads who make up our Alpha team.

From the workshop to the field, across our branches and behind the scenes, we’re lucky to have some great dads among us — working hard, sharing their experience and getting the job done every day.

But today, we also want to extend that celebration to all the dads, grandads, step dads and father figures in our community.

Whether you’re spending the day with family, firing up the BBQ, heading out for an adventure, or simply enjoying a well-earned day off — we hope it’s a great one.

Our team has successfully removed a 200KW submersible pump from site following an earth leakage fault. The pump is now on its way to our workshop, where it will undergo a complete strip-down, detailed inspection, and expert assessment before any necessary repairs are carried out.
