Adventure means different things to different people.
For some, it’s a weekend away, a trail through the bush, or a surf before sunrise.
For Bianca, it’s standing on top of the world. 🏔️
Huge congratulations to Bianca Adler on becoming the youngest Australian to summit Mount Everest — an unbelievable achievement of resilience, courage and determination, all while completing Year 12 at my old high school. What a story.
We’ve loved following the journey and seeing someone so young embrace discomfort, challenge herself and chase something truly wild.
We stayed up last night watching Bianca’s tracker crawl toward the top of the world — and when the news came through this morning, it was worth every minute.
Bianca made today’s summit alongside guides Pemba Chhiring Sherpa and Ngudu Sherpa, reaching the summit in the early hours before the crowds, in the dark, cold and wind. Her mum Fiona, writing from base camp on the family’s blog at Adler’s Adventures, described it perfectly:
“The only downside is that she’s summited in the dark. But that’s a small price to pay for a safe and successful summit.”
Can’t wait to add a photo from Bianca’s expedition to the Brewers Orchard Adventure Map and hear all about the adventure once she’s back home.
Stories like this are exactly why we built Brewers Orchard around adventure in the first place — to celebrate people getting outside, pushing themselves and collecting stories worth sharing.
Safe travels home Bianca 🍎🏔️
