As you know, I have had the Irishtown General Store on the market for a while now.
The little Irishtown General Store of today is so much more than I could have ever expected it to be.
I bought the store with the mindset to just keep it ticking along and create a safe, warm, loving environment for me and my boys to continue to grow in together.
Never in my dreams did I think it would grow to be what it is today!
Unfortunately, I can't continue to keep up with it expanding on my own.
Even with that 'amazing' attitude of mine, never ending support from my family, Cheryl & my bestest ever 'right hand man' Tanya by my side xx
Watching some of our most beautiful customers lose their battles with life and the ones that have been tragically taken too soon has hit my heart extra hard lately.
Life has also thrown us some personal hurdles over the last few years, which I have been jumping while continuing to be present daily here at the store.
This has really made me think about the 'whys' in life lately.
It's family first for me. Always & forever.
I have taken my property off the market and will be closing the shops doors for the last time tomorrow night.
I have had the opportunity out there for someone else to step up and take on my little Store but I also fully understand how hard it is for anyone to achieve this dream at the moment with the way todays world is.
The people who know the real me, know that I'm a bit of a wildflower..I don't grow in the box.
Its the small things that are the most important to me.
Having time to see the beauty in each moment.
Filling our days with gratitude & appreciation.
I have created a beautiful life here for my family.
This move provided us with many challenges, has pushed us outside of our comfort zone, created growth for both me personally & my boys.
For that I am forever very grateful.
Being here is a beautiful reminder of what we are all capable of if we have a vision.
You guys are seriously just the greatest. You have made these last 7 years pretty f@ #$ing amazing!
I have met so many beautiful people who I will hold in my heart & life forever.
It's now time for me to step back, slow down, do more of the things that I love and embrace those simple things that life has to offer together while we still can.
