Hey legends,
You may have noticed things have been a little quiet on our socials lately, and we wanted to let you know why.
A few weeks ago, our beautiful daughter Heidi made a very early entrance into the worldβ12 weeks premature via emergency C-section. We were flown down to the Mater NICU Intensive Care Unit, where weβve been ever since. Things are thankfully stable now, and while itβs been a huge journey, weβre so grateful for where we are today.
We canβt thank our incredible family, friends, and staff enough for stepping up and keeping The Wobbly Goat running smoothly while we focus on Heidi. The shop is in safe hands and still delivering the same great service thanks to their amazing efforts.
We also want to give a massive shoutout to the incredible teams at Stanthorpe Hospital, the Mater Hospital, and the emergency services who took such good care of us during an extremely scary time.
Heidi is doing well, and we know just how lucky we are to have the support we doβweβre thinking of every other family out there going through similar challenges.
The bottle shop, the farm, and everything we do are such a big part of our lives, and weβre beyond thankful for everyone pitching in behind the scenes. There are too many of you to name, but you know who you areβthank you.
Weβll be back soon enough.
With love and gratitude,
Pieter & Lacey
From the van Jaarsveld family
