Great news — our Cellar Door is officially open 🍷

We’d love to welcome you back for a relaxed tasting and the chance to stock up on your favourite Blackjack Wines.

Our community has been deeply affected by the recent fires, and one of the simplest ways to make a real difference is to visit, support and spend locally.

If you’re able, make a day of it — come in for a chat, enjoy a tasting, and explore some of our favourite local spots. Please check out our stories for inspiration of where else to visit (with many more wonderful places in the region well worth discovering).
Supporting neighbouring producers and hospitality venues helps bring life back into a region that has so much to offer.

To our Blackjack community,

Thank you to everyone who has reached out with messages, calls, and support over the past few days. It has meant the world to us.

Our vineyard, winery, home, family, and team are safe — but the impact of this event on Blackjack has been deeply felt. We’ve lost most of our stock from the Harcourt Cooperative Cool Stores and 33 years of carefully cellared museum wines held offsite, representing the history and story of Blackjack Wines.

Our hearts are with the Harcourt and surrounding communities, where so many families, friends, and businesses have been severely affected. The scale of this devastation is immense, and we are committed to supporting the community in whatever way we can.

We’re incredibly grateful to the firefighters, volunteers, and first responders working tirelessly through this disaster.

Our cellar door will be closed this weekend. We are aiming to reopen our cellar door on the long weekend, from 24 January, and look forward to welcoming you back then.

Due to the local fires around Harcourt, cellar door will be closed this weekend. With road closures and fallen trees in the area, it’s safest for everyone to avoid visiting at this time.

Blackjack Winery & Vineyard is safe, and our families are safe as well. We truly appreciate all the kind messages and check-ins we’ve received.

A heartfelt thank you to the tireless work of our firefighters and volunteers who are protecting our community during this time.

We look forward to welcoming you back and plan to be open next weekend.
