Yesterday we were honored by a visit from Ashley Huntington, one of the true pioneers of Australian craft brewing and founder of !
If there’s one word to describe Ashley, it’s PASSION. Passion for our brewing industry, passion for local provenance, passion for individuality, and the courage to create beers that others wouldn’t dare attempt.
Two Meter Tall is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year—two decades of crafting farm-based, wild-fermented ales that showcase Tasmania’s agricultural heritage. Using locally grown ingredients and traditional brewing methods, Ashley has created a truly unique brewing philosophy that stands tall in Australia’s craft beer landscape.
We’re incredibly proud to support their exceptional beers in our store and to help spread the gospel of truly artisanal brewing. Here’s to another 20 years of brewing excellence! 🍻

Wine Wednesday -

Our great mate Luke Andree, makes a belter of a wine – his winemaking journey spans across the Yarra Valley, Germany and then back to his Tassie roots, the home of Sonnen.

As Luke puts it: “Sonnen is an exploration and an implementation of everything I have experienced in my brief career in wine, as well as a continual learning, experimentation and creative process.”

This drop includes his new vintage 2024 Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Light Dry Red and Blanc Pinot Gris.

When the nights get chilly, we get serious about our autumn whites around here. These beauties have been flying off our shelves: the pristine Crudo Chardonnay, wild Plenarius Viognier, layered Bests Foudre Ferment Riesling, crisp Pizzini Nove Pinot Grigio, and that stunning La Spinetta Timorasso.
Perfect companions for those cooler evenings when you want something with a little more weight and complexity but aren’t quite ready for the full red wine transition 🍂🍷
