Retail Assistant / Duty Manager – Permanent Part‑Time
📍 IGA LG Elmore Plus Liquor
Are you reliable, friendly, and great with people? We’re looking for a motivated Retail Assistant / Duty Manager to join our team at IGA LG Elmore Plus Liquor!
This is a permanent part‑time role with a minimum of 53 hours per fortnight, offering stability, training, and the chance to step into a leadership position within a busy local supermarket.
💰 What We Offer
$27.81 per hour + weekend, late‑night & public holiday penalties
Weekly pay (every Wednesday)

🛒 About the Role
As a Duty Manager, you’ll help keep the store running smoothly during your shift. You’ll support junior staff, assist customers, maintain store standards, and ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
You’ll work across different areas of the supermarket, including front counter, general retail, and customer service.
📌 Key Responsibilities
Supervising store operations during your shift
Supporting and training junior staff
Providing excellent customer service
Maintaining store cleanliness, safety & presentation
Following OH&S, food handling & hygiene procedures
Assisting across all departments as needed
Communicating effectively with staff & management
Helping drive sales and customer satisfaction

🕒 Hours
Minimum 53 hours per fortnight, including weekdays, weekends, and some public holidays. A mix of afternoon, daytime, and weekend shifts.
