ue for the sport he loved. All profits made from the weekend are offered to a Cancer Research fund nominated by the Taylor Family. First held in Dimboola, Victoria in October 2017, the Peter Taylor Memorial weekend was a collaborative event organised between Barefoot SA the Dimboola Boat and Water Ski Club Inc. and the Victorian Barefoot Waterski Club. Many other individuals, companies and sponsors came together to help support the 2017 inaugural event. The 2017 weekend consisted of a tournament, coaching clinics held by champions Ben Franks and Keenan Derry, and an exciting night jump held under lights. As a sanctioned event, all skiers are required to have Australian Waterski & Wakeboard Federation (WAWA) membership to participate. Our Story

One of Australia’s most exciting weekends of barefoot waterskiing held in memory of the great barefoot waterskiing legend, Peter Taylor. Peter Taylor was a larger than life character who was admired and respected in the barefooting community both locally and internationally.

To honour Peter’s memory Dimboola ski club in conjunction with Barefoot SA came together to organize this action packed fun filled event, pulling world class barefoot skiers and massive vocal crowds from all over to participate in the cause.

All funds raised from the weekend will be donated to much needed charities in order to honour Peter and his legacy.
