🥃Introducing Kavalan “Fino Sherry Cask” Solist Single Malt Whisky
This striking expression from Kavalan’s acclaimed Solist series is a shining example of Taiwanese whisky craftsmanship. Matured exclusively in Spanish Fino Sherry casks and bottled at cask strength, it unveils layers of creamy toffee, rich fudge, chocolate, mango, citrus, and a lingering green apple brightness.
🏆In 2025, this very dram etched its name in whisky history—earning the coveted title of Whisky of the Year at the International Whisky Competition (IWC) with a near-perfect 97.04 points. The double-blind format also crowned Kavalan Distillery of the Year, while honoring Zerose Yang as Master Distiller of the Year.
🎬Think of it like the Oscars of whisky: Kavalan’s Fino Sherry Cask didn’t just win Best Actor (Whisky of the Year), the distillery itself walked away with Best Picture (Distillery of the Year), and their Master Distiller, Zerose Yang, was crowned Best Director (Master Distiller of the Year).
