Come and celebrate all those superheroes we proudly call Dad!

Our kitchen will be open for lunch from 11am–2pm, so bookings are recommended to secure your table.

What a wonderful weekend!

It’s been fantastic to see so many people out and about, especially while we’re still in winter. It’s certainly showing great promise for the peak season ahead, and we’re looking forward to what’s to come!

Just a friendly reminder, if you’re planning to join us for a dine-in meal, please be mindful of booking ahead where possible. Giving us some notice allows us to organise the appropriate staff and supplies to accommodate you properly.

We have had a few queries regarding our post yesterday about “no dine-in”, so we would like to clarify what this means.

To confirm, “no dine-in” does not mean you are unable to sit and enjoy our dining area.

It simply means that, due to our current staffing situation, we are unable to provide plated meals or table/waiting service at this time.

You are still very welcome to purchase takeaway food and drinks and sit, relax and enjoy them in our usual dining area. The only difference is that we are currently unable to provide the full table-service experience.

We hope this clears up any confusion and provides some clarification around our current service arrangements.

And what a stunning day it is in Bowhill today to enjoy time at the Bowhill General Store.

Today we will be operating with takeaway food service only.

Our current 9' pizza special will be available all day, featuring a BBQ relish base topped with ham and red onion, finished with a fresh salad of rocket, fetta, caramelised figs and mint.

Weekend Service Update

This weekend, the Bowhill General Store will be operating takeaway service only due to staff shortages.

Moving forward, if we are unable to accommodate dine-in service due to staff availability and we have no prior bookings, our food service will operate as takeaway only.

Unfortunately, this is beyond our control and reflects the changing nature of hospitality. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and continued support.

We will be featuring a special new dish tomorrow, replacing our Thai red curry.

We had an amazing turnout today, and it was so lovely to see so many people celebrating special occasions. Congratulations to everyone celebrating birthdays, engagements and anniversaries — we hope you had a truly wonderful and memorable day. 🥂❤️
