Following the General Store being destroyed by fire in Beulah the Co-op was formed and has been busy behind the scenes making plans to build a new building to house a supermarket at Stage 1 and following that Stage 2 a cafe, newsagent, social spaces or whatever the community needs. The Proposed site for the new building is the block opposite the Memorial Hall which the Shire have agreed to transfe
r to the Co-Op. To do this the Co-Op is selling shares to the community and asking for donations. The current directors of the Co-Op are: Shaun Thompson, Jenni Turnbull, Rory Shannon, Gus Shannon, Ross Williams, Riley Lehmann, Peter Lehmann, Josh Warren, Viv Townsend and Zeb Chivell.
