Do you remember those days? 2020 was a year filled with daily press conferences that people couldn't look away from, along with the viral sensation that was Tiger King. And who could forget the toilet paper shortage that still seems a little odd? However, amidst all the chaos, the COVID apocalypse also brought forth a constant flow of limited edition beers, and .beer rose to the occasion by brewing some juicy and heavily-hopped Apocalypso beers.

We cracked a coupla Apocalypso Zombie Tiki NEIPA's after work the other day and wrote a few tastings notes! you know how we do!! ;). 🍻🧟🏝️

Upon pouring, this beer boasts a cloudy, orange-yellow hue and a frothy white head. The aroma is packed with tropical fruit notes like pineapple, passionfruit, and mango, along with a hint of piney resin. On the palate, the tropical flavors are prominent, with a juicy and sweet taste of mango and passionfruit complemented by a citrusy tang. The hops provide a pleasant bitterness that balances out the sweetness, leading to a refreshing finish that lingers.

This week at Berkeley Vale Cellars we highly recommend you craft heads out there having a crack at the OG Belgian Blonde if you haven't already! This Belgian beer is a real crowd-pleaser and has a distinct flavour that is sure to satisfy.

When pouring La Chouffe Blonde, you'll notice its golden colour and a slight haze. It has a frothy head that lingers for a little while, leaving behind some nice lacing on the glass. The aroma is sweet and fruity, with notes of banana, citrus, and a hint of spice.
