Okay so this one’s a big deal for us. Hops, Grapes and Mates is our first ever spring tasting and honestly, it’s bigger than anything we’ve done before. W**e, craft b**r, spirits, all in one room, poured by people who actually know their stuff, plus a couple of special guests we’re not fully spilling yet. And yeah, we’re finally launching our website too, so you’ll be able to shop, browse and book straight from there. Come taste your way around, ask too many questions, make some new mates. Saturday 17 October, two sessions, thirty bucks a ticket. Spots are properly limited so don’t sit on this one. Link in bio. **etasting **r

Barolo 2019...
Some bottles you save for a reason Barolo “Castelletto” 2019 from Gianni Gagliardo — Nebbiolo at its most patient. Piedmont in a glass.
Gianni Gagliardo is a respected Barolo producer based in La Morra, in Italy’s Piedmont region. The estate is known for a modern-classic style — rich, structured Nebbiolo w**es that still respect tradition. Castelletto is one of their notable single-vineyard or cru-designated bottlings, often praised for balancing power with elegance. They farm multiple vineyard sites across different Barolo communes, which lets them produce several distinct expressions of Nebbiolo rather than just one blended style.

Close your eyes and you’re on a Greek island terrace. ☀️🇬🇷

Mythos — the Premium Hellenic B**r, 5% and made for long lunches by the water. Crisp, easy-drinking, and pairs perfectly with olives, feta, and a view you’re probably not getting on a Tuesday afternoon on the Central Coast.

But hey, this is the next best thing.

Sicily’s volcano in a glass. 🌋🇮🇹

Calcagno Etna Rosso DOC — grown on the black volcanic soils of Mount Etna, all elegance and minerality with that signature Nerello Mascalese lift. Honestly one of the best-value Etna Rossos we’ve come across — and it’s flying off the shelf, so don’t sleep on this one.

Grab a bottle before it’s gone (again).
