Thank you all for your kind words. It’s been a tough week of trying to prepare for and then dealing with the aftermath of Cyclone Alfred with limited resources or access to them for all of us on Straddie.
Once again our community did as we do and came together to work out the best solutions we could to get us through.
We have an amazing team at Amity Point General Dealers and they all went above and beyond to keep everything running whilst also having homes and family of their own to worry about. Thank you team!!!
Thank you to Nick and Anita also for your very generous lending of your Starlink! It was a life saver for us all.
As we now face the massive clean up, remember every bit you can do will help and to be kind to those who are doing their best to get our Island back to the spectacular place we are blessed to call home. ❤️

We are open today until 6 and have fuel and some supplies. Starlink is set up for those needing to contact loved ones and power points for phone charging. Anyone in need of help contact SES, Firies or Police. Stay safe xx
