Alice Springs Karting Club Dirt Kart racing in Alice Springs. Fun for the whole family, free for spectators The combined
effort to produce a race meeting was a great effort.

Alice Springs Karting Club originated in1987 by a group of enthusiastic
petrol heads seeking an affordable thrill of speed and excitement that
didn't break the bank each time you crashed. When you did crash there was an ethic amongst everybody to make
sure you were on the start grid for the next heat, an element of the club
members that lives strong 24 years later. Our club is so fortunate to ha

ve founding and long term members still
racing that continue to abide by and install that ethic into the new and
current members. With encouragement and just enough technical
knowledge to keep everybody competitive they are well respected
within the club. We are a unique club in the context of being so remote, the closest
AIKDKA affiliated track is 700 km away so racing on different
tracks and surfaces can pose quite a challenge and many hours on
the highway. It must be that Territory spirit that has given the
ambition and drive to compete against the best in the country
being represented at many state and national title events. Proudly we can reflect back over the years at the achievements of our
past and present members claiming state and national titles and
podium finishes, with members even progressing to national status
on the sprint car speedway scene with James Mcfadden winning the 2010
Australian title. Alice Springs hosts the annual Northern Territory titles every year,
as it is the only dirt kart track in the territory, with competitors traveling
from South Australia and Western Australia. Many competitors return
annually because they enjoy the track surface and layout, and the
hospitality of the local members. This event is achieved successfully
by the support of the members, local business and importantly the
contribution of volunteers. This was evident for the 2010 titles when
the track was under water five days before the event.

Huge thank you to travelling competitors Jack & Brad from Top End Dirt Karts for making the trip down and being part of our double-header rounds this weekend! 👏🏁

Not even the cool & wet change from the Darwin weather could scare these blokes off, still making the journey south to put on some great racing action across the weekend. 🌧️❄️

We appreciate the effort it takes to travel and support our race meetings, and it was great to have you both on track for a weekend of fast-paced racing.

The pace was on all weekend at the Alice Springs Karting Club, with drivers absolutely flying across both Saturday and Sunday. 🏁🔥

Massive shoutout to our track crew for delivering an unreal racing surface across the double-header rounds. The weather gods & the effort behind the scenes made for some seriously quick racing and it definitely showed in the lap times.

Big thanks as well to all of our competitors for the hard, clean & fast paced action. The level of competition and sportsmanship across every class made it a standout weekend of dirt kart racing.

Round 5 wrapped up an action packed weekend of racing with drivers once again putting on an incredible show across all classes at the Alice Springs Karting Club. 🏁

From close finishes to intense battles throughout the field, the results from the weekend prove just how competitive the racing has become this season. Every point counted across the double header rounds, with drivers leaving absolutely nothing on the table.

🏁 What a weekend of fast paced racing for our double header rounds at the Alice Springs Karting Club! From the very first heat race, the competition was fierce across every class with drivers pushing hard for every point available.

👏🏽 Seeing the results from Round 4 & 5 really shows just how serious the competition was over the weekend, with close racing, tough battles and some outstanding performances all around.

A huge thank you to all competitors, officials, volunteers and supporters who made the weekend possible.
