Thanks for the review Qwine Reviews

Dang! Dangerously slurpable and eminently smashable, this is a silky delight that will take pride of place on a lazy Susan and take down a Chinese banquet effortlessly. What a joy it was to review this Camino Wine Co Gamay. https://buff.ly/mP9xX2w

Jason Barrette has a knack for trying a few things. I've seen him push some boundaries with some wines in his care, and this Grenache Blanc de Noir under his own label tugs at your curiosity and soothes the taste buds with charismatic ease. https://buff.ly/TiY9vxu

When I hear the suggestion that white wines don't need decanting, I don't entirely subscribe to it. Some whites would absolutely benefit from the opportunity to open up, and this Camino Wine Co Chardonnay is a perfect example. https://buff.ly/dcvRQor

"Modern heavy bottle aside, there's an old-fashioned integrity here that harks back to the great old cabernets of the Barossa. I love the way the mild 2023 season has created a cabernet more of frame than flesh, reinforced by maker Jason Barrette with 19 months in French oak hogsheads. Vines of 80-100 years of age have built a deep core of blackcurrant fruit, backed with the milk chocolate complexity and fine-grained tannins that epitomise Marananga."

Hectic day yesterday with Camino bottling and grape harvest and processing. A full circle day with the new wine 2025 Camino Adelaide Hills Gamay from the Maple Ridge vineyard in Hahndorf going into bottle ( I used to use their Pinot when I was at Penfolds) and same day we were picking the 2026 Gamay. Early start in the Barossa then 2 trips to the Adelaide Hills to pick up the grapes and then crush and clean up. One of many long days at the moment. The 2025 Camino Gamay will be available for purchase shortly.

Busy day for Camino today. The first of four bottling’s this morning is already complete. And the harvest for Camino Adelaide Hills Gamay has commenced at daybreak. Let’s hope this rain is short lived. It looks like it will be a late one tonight. 🍇🍷

2025 Camino Adelaide Hills Gamay is one step closer to bottling at the end of this month. The 2 Puncheons have been racked to tank for fine tuning. It tastes delicious.
