Ah we love a big, loud, fruity Austrian. Brief: delivered, right here with this vibrant mix of cherry, raspberry, and black currant, with just unexpected enough fizz. A bit of Merlot (15%) adds depth, but it’s the Zweigelt’s 5-day skin fermentation that brings texture and excitement to this light, summery punch. Aged for 8 months on lees in a mix of stainless steel and big old barrels, it’s so easy, so quaffable.

Wild yeast fermented in tank then aged on fine lees for seven months, the winemaker has preserved texture to create something savoury and seriously spesh. Deliciously dry refreshment is so deeply satisfying from a Vermentino, which this 2024 quencher has in spades.
