🇺🇸 Guests in the Austrian Woods 🇦🇹

A night to remember – deep in the Salzkammergut forest.
Together with our US partners, we gathered at a rustic hunting lodge for a truly authentic Austrian experience.

🍺 Specialty beers from Schloss Eggenberg – like our iconic "Naturtrüb"
🍽️ A home-cooked Rehragout (venison stew) with dumplings and red cabbage – a regional classic
🎶 And the sounds of Austrian folk music, echoing through the woods

It was an evening filled with flavor, tradition, and heartfelt hospitality.

Yesterday we took a stunning boat tour on Lake Traunsee, had dinner at the yacht club, and ended the summer evening in the legendary beer cellar at Bierhotel Ranklleiten 🍽️🍻

Good vibes, beautiful views, and the finest beers – that’s how we celebrate global partnerships! 🌍🍺

🍻 A special reunion in a very special place 🍻

Back in the 1980s, our Austrian brewery began importing a remarkable Bavarian wheat beer – a bold move at a time when international brand-building in the beer industry was still rare.

As part of this collaboration, my sister Julia and I were lucky to complete a summer internship in the export department in Bavaria. That’s where I met Waltraud Kaiser – the Grande Dame of the international beer business – and the start of a lasting connection was made.

🌍 With incredible passion and vision, Waltraud brought this wheat beer brand to 106 countries around the world – a true pioneer!

Now, decades later, we’re still in touch. And we recently had the joy of reconnecting during her visit to our Ranklleiten in Pettenbach.

📸 We shared stories and memories surrounded by nearly 15,000 beer bottles from around the globe in our beer bottler museum – a perfect setting for reminiscing about international fairs, business milestones, and a life dedicated to beer.

I'm truly grateful for this connection – it has lasted through time, borders, and one unforgettable Beer Business Life.

Looking back at a fantastic ADAT Convention in the heart of Tuscany, where we showcased the finest Austrian beer specialties from Eggenberger International and Rieder Bier – finest Innviertler brewing tradition since 1936. 🌾

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, shared great conversations, and celebrated the passion for real beer culture. Together, we raised our glasses to the unique flavors and traditions of Austria. 🍻

Together with our local importer Stefano Taglietti and the Vice Governor of Tuscany Stefania Saccardi / , he had the great honor of tapping a keg of „Weißbier“ to celebrate Austrian brewing tradition abroad. 🇦🇹🍻
