Mentors
I look up to strong, purpose-driven women who have made a meaningful impact in business and community development, especially those who have risen from humble beginnings and created lasting change. One of the people I truly admire is Dr Vuyo Mahlati, a pioneering South African entrepreneur and advocate for inclusive agricultural development. Her work showed me that it is possible to build a successful business while empowering others and preserving our cultural identity. Throughout my journey, I have also been fortunate to have mentors, both formal and informal, who have guided me, shared their experiences and challenged me to grow. Their support has taught me the value of resilience, humility and staying true to my vision, even when the path is uncertain. Their influence has reminded me that success is not just about personal achievement, but about creating opportunities for others and making a positive impact in the community.
